Eva Gabor 100 -- February 11, 2019

Actress and celebrity Eva Gabor was born 100 years ago today, on 11-February-1919, just after the fall of the Austro-Hungarian empire. She married in 1937 and moved to the United States in 1939. She played small parts in many movies and television shows.  I never watched Green Acres in the 1960s, but for some reason I sometimes get the theme song stuck in my head.

She was on television a lot when I was a kid. I got her mixed up with her sister Zsa Zsa. Later I learned that there was another sister, Magda.

She sure was beautiful.
