Sources say that today is the 100th anniversary of the inauguration of the Hollywoodland Sign, now called the Hollywood Sign, but I can't find any newspaper references to the inauguration. On the other hand, I have found lots of ads for Hollywoodland, a housing development. "Choice Building Lots as Low As $2000."
