But Papa Lloyd Doesn't Wear Glasses -- February 5, 2025

Los Angeles Times, 01-February-1925

Harold Lloyd's family seemed to be inclined to drive Buicks. Here we see Harold's dad, James Darsie Lloyd, posing with a new Buick Brougham. The article mentions that Harold's wife, Mildred David, "drove a Buick sport model." The Howard Automobile Company was founded by Charles S Howard, who later owned Seabiscuit.

I like this busy ad for Seattle's Columbia Theater. The Mad Whirl Sounds like a fun movie. "Now or Never" was a 1921 Harold Lloyd short comedy. I think "His Greatest Repicturization" means that it was a rerelease. I have never seen the word "Repicturization" before. Francesco Longo was a Seattle orchestra leader.
