Annette Kellerman was an Australian athlete who moved from swimming to vaudeville and movies. She designed and wore a pioneering one-piece swimsuit, which caused scandals in some quarters. Most of her movies, including Neptune's Daughter, which she made for Universal, are lost. "'The Perfect Woman' and company of one thousand players."
