75 years ago today, on 01-June-1942, actor Leslie Howard died when the BOAC DC-3 he had boarded in Lisbon was shot down by the Germans. He could have been the target because of his anti-Axis propaganda work.
I love many of his movies, especially The Scarlet Pimpernel, Pygmalion and The Petrified Forest.
