American lightweight Packey McFarland found British Matt Wells at Madison Square Garden on 26-April-1912.  McFarland won a newspaper decision in 10 rounds.  McFarland is considered one of the greatest fighters who never got a shot at a title.  The Vitagraph Company offered a film that was "2500 feet, showing the entire ten rounds."
