Child star Bobby Connelly died 100 years ago today, on 05-July-1922. He was 13 years old.

Bobby Connelly, who was one of the most famous child motion picture stars in the world, died at his home, 45 Spencer Avenue, Lynbrook, L. I., yesterday of acute bronchitis. He had been ill three months. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at St. Raymond's Roman Catholic Church, Lynbrook, and internment will follow at Elmont, L. I.
Bobbie (sic - JT) made a big hit in "Humoresque." Later he appeared in "The Old Oaken Bucket," and recently appeared as star in "Wild Youth," not yet released.
Bobby was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Connelly, vaudeville and motion picture actors. He also headed a vaudeville company of his own in a sketch on the Keith circuit. He was one of the highest paid child stars in the world.
