Golden Spike 150 -- May 10, 2019

150 years ago today, on 10-May-1869, the transcontinental railroad was completed when the tracks of the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads met at Promontory Summit, Utah.

Later today, I hope to watch John Ford's silent film The Iron Horse.
