Actress Phyllis Haver was born 125 years ago today, on 06-January-1899. She started in film as one of Mack Sennett's bathing beauties. Later she starred in short comedies like Buster Keaton's "The Balloonatic." Later she signed with Cecil B DeMille's ,Producers Distributing Corporation. Her most famous feature film was Chicago, the first adaption of the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins. In 1929 she married a millionaire and retired from the film industry.
