Actor Rondo Hatton died 75 years ago today, on 02-February-1945. He served in the army during World War One and began to suffer the effects of acromegaly. He was discharged from the army and returned to working as a journalist. In the late 1940s, Universal used him as a character in several horror movies and thrillers. He died in 1945, from complications caused by his acromegaly.
The yearly Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards honor his legacy. I am a regular voter.
