Happy Mothers' Day, everyone. I'm grateful for my mother and my wife and my mother-in-law and sisters-in-law and cousins and friends. All excellent mothers.

Radio Days is one of my favorite Woody Allen movies.  Julie Kavner played Joe's mother Irene, who listened to Breakfast with Irene and Roger every morning.

Mother: "Turn off the radio."
Joe: "Why should I?  You listen to it."
Mother: "That's different. Our lives are ruined anyway."
