The Willat Studios were in Fort Lee, New Jersey. They were the "home of the Popular Photo Plays Corporation." Fort Lee was an early center of the US film industry. Irvin V Willat was a director who had a long career in silent and talking films. The line of visitors includes reporters from various trade publications, representatives of the New York Motion Picture Company, Mack Sennett, Thomas Ince, and someone named Worthy Butts.
