100 years ago, Roscoe Arbuckle appeared in a lot of movies in a short time. He appeared in five features released during 1921.Roscoe's short films made by Comique were still in release and popular.
In The Traveling Salesman, Roscoe played Bob Blake, a travelling salesman who left a train in the wrong town, and sought shelter from a rainstorm. His leading lady was Betty Ross Clarke. I keep trying to type her name as Betsy Ross Clarke.
The Traveling Salesman was based on a 1908 play by James Grant Forbes.
