Larry Spent 93% of What Was in the Till On This One -- April 3, 2019

Moving Picture World, 12-April-1919
100 years ago this month, in April, 1919, the Vitagraph began distributing a new Larry Semon comedy series, separate from the Big V comedies. The Larry Semon Comedies were two-reelers.

"Larry Spent 93% of What Was in the Till On This One."  This could be a foreshadowing of troubles to come for Larry Semon.

Moving Picture World, 12-April-1919
"Larry Semon plays the part of the timid sheriff of Beer Bottle Bend."

Moving Picture World, 05-April-1919
"The Larry Semon Comedies will be released once a month and will be directed by the star himself."

Moving Picture World, 05-April-1919
"Larry proceeds to make a few cursory remarks on women."  Is that a joke about cursing?

Exhibitors' Herald, 19-April-1919
"Larry Semon's second comedy has arrived in New York from Los Angeles and Vitagraph will announce its title next week."  I have been seeing a lot of references to film titles that were To Be Determined.
